OnePlus Kicks off Open Sale for OnePlus 2 in India

OnePlus has again stood up to its word of flashing out an open sale to sell OnePlus 2 smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone was earlier available exclusively on Amazon India, but now the open sale will sell the device freely to each and every customer without requiring an invitational note. It will be on sale from Wednesday to Friday.

Apart from this notices, the company has also announced the open sale for the international market without invites as part of its Black Friday deals. It is not for the first time that the juggernaut is flashing the open sale but earlier also it has kicked off such sale to sell the recently launched product.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch in-cell display with a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) resolution and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It runs OxygenOS 2.1.0 based on Android 5.1. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with an Adreno 430 GPU alongside 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage. The pricing has been detailed as for 16GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM the tag will be of Rs. 22,999, which is expected to be unveiled later this year, while the 64GB OnePlus 2 has been priced at Rs. 24,999.

The device has a dual SIM support that offers dual 4G Nano-SIM card support (dual-SIM dual standby). At the shooter’s front, it integrates a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 1.3-micron sensor, laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, RAW image support and OIS, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It weighs 175grams and packs 3300mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner has the facility to store upto 5 prints and can unlock the set within 0.5seconds. It further has USB Type-C connectivity (with the cable reversible at both ends).
