Oppo Launches 'Selfie Expert' F1s Smartphone in India at INR 17,990

The Chinese electronics brand, Oppo has launched its new smartphone entitled as Oppo F1s in India at a price tag of INR 17,990. The newbie is going to sit with Oppo’s remaining ‘Selfie Expert’ line-up in which the F1 Plus and F1 are the most recent ones. The device can be availed online (Via Amazon) as well as offline from August 11 onwards.

Without a doubt, the 16MP secondary camera of the smartphone is what grabs the attention a lot more than rest of its features, which is coming with Beautify 4.0. For all the selfie lovers, this could be a perfect treat for you people. Besides this USP factor, the mobile phone acquires a 13MP primary shooter.

Sky Li, Oppo Global VP, MD, International Mobile Business and President of OPPO India, during the launch event, said, “OPPO has a rich experience in camera technology and has been the industry leader with several accolades and awards to its credit. And today we are carrying this legacy forward and stepping up the selfie revolution, by launching the upgraded Selfie Expert – F1s to share advanced photography technology with an even wider range of users in India and also offer them an outstanding photographic experience.”

On a technical note, it has been packed with a ColorOS 3.0 above Android 5.1 Lollipop. Powered by an octa-core MT6750 processor, the F1s has a storage space with 3GB RAM along with 32GB secondary memory, which can be further extended up to 128GB via a microSD card. The device is a Dual SIM smartphone. When it comes to design, it is more or less similar to the F1 Plus with a 5.5-inch HD display and a metal alloy body coated with Zircon Sand surface, which gives a premium look to the smartphone.

Highlighting some of the other noticeable features, the handset in question is fitted with a front-facing fingerprint recognition device, which can unlock the mobile in 0.22 seconds, claimed by the company. The home button let the users launch an app or start the phone call with just one touch.
