Reliance Launches Lyf Wind 2 at Rs. 8,299 with 6-Inch HD Display

Indian based giant Reliance Retail has launched its new smartphone named as Lyf Wind 2, a 6-inch display phablet with a price tag of Rs. 8,299. It also supports 4G connectivity along VoLTE(voice over LTE) support like its other siblings.

The GSM smartphone has 5.1 Lollipop OS running by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M SoC, powered with 2GB of RAM. It has a dual sim option(Regular + Nano) in which only One SIM card slot can be leveraged for 4G network at a single period.

The optics carry an 8-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera in front. The pictures are displayed on a 6-Inch HD IPS Display of 720×1280 pixels with a pixel density of 294ppi.

The phablet has a 16GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD and talking about the battery, smartphone gets power from a 2850 mAh non-removable battery which can is claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time on 4G network and standby time of 190 hours also giving video playback in HD format for 6 hours.

For the connection part, Lyf Wind 2 include 4G (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phablet has a dimension of 157.5×81×8.5mm and weighs around 223 grams. Sensors in Lyf Wind 2 are a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and an accelerometer.
