Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is known for offering mid-range smartphones in the Indian market as the company has recently launched the R15 Pro in the country. The company reported that Oppo R15 Pro is the first device that is being certified with water resistant and comes with a black surface on the rear panel.
In India, The Oppo R15 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 25,990 for single 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will be available for purchase from January 9, 2019 (tomorrow) exclusively at Amazon.in. It has been launched in Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red color options which has gradient finish design.

The newly launched Oppo R15 Pro features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ OLED display that offers 19:9 aspect ratio, 1,080 x 2,280 pixels resolution, 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 401ppi pixel density. The smartphone has a notch on the top bezels that house front-facing camera, earpiece sensor and more.

At the software front, the Oppo R15 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo- out-of-the-box which is based on ColorOS 5.0. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. For storing content, the company has offered 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 256GB via microSD card.
For the photography purpose, the Oppo R15 Pro has dual camera sensors on the rear panel. The rear camera set up features a 20MP primary sensor and 16MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 on both sensors. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets a 20MP front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera app is preloaded with AI beauty technology 2.0 to capture beautiful selfies.
The Oppo R15 Pro packs a 3,430mAh battery coupled with VOOC flash charging technology for fast charging which is rated to render 2 hours of talk time only on 5 minutes of charging, claims company. It comes preloaded with an NFC chip which allows users to transfer any kind of information from one device to another just by placing the device near to the other. NFC can be used on smartphones to transfer photos, contacts, or any kind of information.
