OnePlus, Shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to unveil the latest flagship smartphone with the name tag OnePlus 6 at the launch event which is to be scheduled in London on 16th May, followed by India and China launch event in the next day. Earlier this month, the company officially revealed that the India launch event of flagship smartphone will be conducted on 17th May at the Dome, NSCI, Mumbai which starts at 3 PM local time.

A couple of days before the official unveiling of OnePlus 6, the company has now confirmed that the sale of the entry tickets of the event which is to be available at the company’s official website from 8th May (today), starts from 10 am. It must be noted that the entry tickets to the launch event are available at a price of Rs. 999 per ticket.
The launch event tickets are available in limited quantities so the interested consumers must grab this opportunity as soon as possible. Along with the OnePlus voucher of Rs 999 in the form of Entry tickets, consumers will also get a gift hamper of goodies which includes Marvel Avengers Cap, Marvel Avengers t-shirt, OnePlus Notebook, OnePlus Tote Bag, and Cash Cannon.
Apart from the regular model of OnePlus 6, the company officially announced that it will also unveil the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition.
OnePlus 6 has been listed on e-commerce website Amazon India along with ‘Notify Me’ button and the upcoming OnePlus smartphone also gets a huge amount of interest. The company has announced that nearly one million fans have shown interest in the launch event of OnePlus 6 by using ‘Notify Me’ button on Amazon India. Interested users who want to get more information regarding the flagship smartphone can login into Amazon India account and mention their email address or phone number.
Once the smartphone will launch in India, the user will get all the information regarding price, launch offers and availability of OnePlus 6. It is worth noting that the early access sale of OnePlus 6 exclusively for Amazon Prime Member be available from 21st May.
OnePlus 6 has been in the trend as the leaks started appearing on the internet from the last few months. Carl Pei, Co-Founder of OnePlus had previously confirmed that OnePlus 6 will come with a cut-out display, glass back design most probably with wireless charging. The upcoming flagship smartphone will feature a 19:9 aspect ratio display along with notch on top. It is embedded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage capacity. All of the aforementioned specifications confirmed by the company. According to the rumors previously surfaced on the internet, OnePlus 6 is likely to come with vertical dual rear camera setup, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging support (considering glass back confirmed) on the handset. The company also confirmed that the smartphone gets a 3.5mm headphone jack along with cut-out display.
The OnePlus 6 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, based on OxygenOS. As of now, we don’t know the battery capacity of the upcoming smartphone but it is anticipated that it will come with Dash Charge feature.
