Realme has finally launched the Realme 3 smartphone in India today. The latest smartphone is the updated version of the 2018 model and still continues to carry the price sticker under Rs 15,000 segment.
The subdivision of Oppo took a dig on the Xiaomi few days before as the company claimed that the Realme 3 carries MediaTek Helio P70 processor with 12nm is far better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is carried by Redmi Note 7. Also, note that the Realme 2 Pro under the hood carried SD 660 in 2018.
The Realme 3 flaunts a 6.2-inch display with an HD+ resolution i.e. of 1520 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone carries a MediaTek Helio P70 processor. The terms of the storage, the handset comes with 3GB and 4GB of RAM along with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. Both the storage variants can further be expanded.
In terms of the optics, the Realme 3 at the back has dual camera setup which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. For enhancing the camera, features like Chroma Boost (enhances dynamic range when shooting backlit objects) and Nightscape (for low-light photos).
The smartphone runs on latest Android 9 Pie out of the box along with ColorOS 6. The handset holds the capacity of 4,230mAh battery.

The price of the Realme 3 for different variants is as follows-
> For 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the Realme 3 flaunts a price sticker of Rs 8,999.
> While for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the handset carries a price tag of Rs 10,999.
The company said that the price sticker of the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is just an introductory offer for the first million purchasers.
The smartphone will be available in three color options- Black, Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue exclusive on Realme website and Flipkart. The first sale of the Realme 3 will begin at 12PM on 12 March 2019.
The company also announced that the Icon In Case of the Realme 3 which has a diamond cut pattern can be grabbed at just Rs 599.
