Redmi 4 Price Reduced By Rs 500 in India

The prices of Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been reduced by the company by Rs 500. The Redmi 4 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage is now available at a price of 8,499 rather than Rs 8,999, whereas Redmi 4, 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage listed at Rs 10,499, drop by Rs 10,999. The price cut of Redmi 4 has been announced by the company just a few days after the launch of Redmi 5 in India. The company made the official announcement of the price cut of Redmi 4 via Twitter and tweet that the price cut is permanent.

To recall, Redmi 4 was launched by the company in May 2017. At the time of launch, the company offered the smartphone in three storage variants: 2GB RAM+16GB internal storage priced at Rs. 6,999, 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage priced at Rs. 8,999 and 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage priced at Rs. 10,999. The Redmi 4 after the price cut is now available for purchase via Mi.com and Amazon India.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 specifications

It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow which is based on MIUI 8. It boasts a 5-inch HD display along with the resolution of 720x1280 pixels protected with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC which clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB/ 3GB and 4GB RAM. In the camera department, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, featuring a f/2.0 aperture lens and an LED flash. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera along with a f/2.2 aperture lens. The company has offered 32GB and 64GB internal storage on Redmi 4 that can be further extended up to 128GB with the help of the memory card.

The smartphone said to feature a metal body design and fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear side of the smartphone. It comes with a 4100mAh battery under the hood and its dimensions are 139.2x69.6x8.6mm. From the connectivity board, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
