Reliance Jio has announced the specifications of its first ever smartphone under the Lyf brand dubbed as Lyf Earth 1. The company will be launching four different series of smartphones under the Lyf brand, named after the four elements i.e Earth, Water, Wnd and Fire. The Eath 1 will will be the first smartphone to launch, and will be put under the super premium segment.
The dual SIM enabled (Micro-SIM and Nano SIM) Lyf Earth 1 is said to feature a 5.5-inch Amoled full HD display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 401ppi. It has a capacitive 5 point multi touch display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU.

The device is operated on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box. Earth 1 has the inbuilt storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot expansion. It is measuring 154x76.6x7.25mm and weighs 162.5 grams. The handset will be available only in one colour i.e White.
On the camera front, the Reliance Jio Earth 1 sports dual cameras at the rear end, one 13 megapixel camera and other one is 2 megapixel camera while bears a 5 megapixel front facing camera. For the connectivity it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Till now, there are no details about the availbility and pricing details of the smartphone. But it is expected that it is priced between Rs.20,000 to Rs.25,000.
