Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Spotted on FCC Listing Expected to Launch Sooner

Samsung, South- Korean multinational company is working on its A-series smartphone and the latest leaks suggesting that the company is planning to launch two mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A6 and A6+. It seems that both of the smartphones could be unveiled globally as soon as possible.

The smartphone with the model number SM-A605FN/DS that is likely to be Galaxy A6+ has been recently appeared on Samsung Poland's official website hinting that the Samsung mid-range smartphone could be unveiled in the coming future.

According to the recent report, both Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ appeared with IDs A3LSMA600FN and A3LSMA605FN respectively on the FCC listings. Both of the smartphones get a certification from FCC listings.

Currently, the FCC listings did not disclose the specifications of both smartphones so we are not able to decide how the A6 and A6+ will be different from Samsung J- series smartphones. To recall, Samsung had launched Galaxy A8 and A8+ in May 2017. The previous rumor reports suggested that the Samsung A6 and A6+ will be unveiled only in few regions namely Europe, Russia and the Middle East, however, it is confirmed now that both of the smartphones will be launched across the globe.

According to the previous rumor reports, Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ were appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-A600FN and SM-A605G respectively which indicating their launch in the US market. Samsung Galaxy A6 scored 723 points in single-core test and 3605 points in multi-core test. On another hand, Samsung Galaxy A6+ scored 739 points in single-core test and 3469 points in multi-core test.

The recent listings suggest that the Galaxy A6 will be powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM. It is anticipated that the smartphone will run on company-owned Android Oreo 9.0 on the top.

Additionally, the more premium smartphone Galaxy A6+ is likely to equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2 GHz, matted with 4GB of RAM. It seems that physical home button is missing on Galaxy A6 ranges of smartphones as it comes with the bezel-less screen. So far the company has not disclosed the information regarding the price and availability of both smartphones, but we are anticipating that it could be unveiled sooner.
