Samsung Introduced Galaxy J3 Prime With Android 7.0 Nougat OS

After unveiling its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones, Samsung has now launched one more smartphone in its Galaxy lineup dubbed as Galaxy J3 Prime in the US. The new offering by the company is blessed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and will be made available officially by T-Mobile and MetroPCS in the country. The handset will be available with a price tag of USD 150 (Rs 9,600 approx) via T-Mobile along with an additional option of monthly instalments.

Concerning the specifications, the Android smartphone is blessed with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 SoC paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It packs 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 2-megapixel front shooter for shooting selfies. The Galaxy J3 Prime is backed up by a 2600mAh battery, measures 139.7x69.85x8.89mm and weighs 148 grams.

Connectivity options on the board of the GSM handset include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, USB, LTE, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1. The company in the smartphone’s description says, “The smartphone that does everything you love and still fits your budget. Enjoy all your photos and videos on a vibrant 5-inch HD display and get to everything quickly with the streamlined layout of Easy Mode.”
