Samsung Prepared To Offer Android Oreo Smartphone

It seems that Samsung South- Korean giant is all set to launch its first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone. The smartphone has started appearing on the internet in the form of leaks and recently some of the key specifications of upcoming Samsung Android Go smartphone leaked before the official launch event.

An alleged smartphone with model number SM-J260 has been spotted on a benchmarking website which is claimed to be a Samsung Android Go smartphone likely to dubbed as Galaxy J2 Core. Now, another variant with the model number SM-J260F has been listed online along with key specifications and features.

The rumored specs sheet was initially rendered by TechieDrive, which reveals that the upcoming Samsung Android Go smartphone will come with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, however, the screen resolution is not mentioned in the specs sheet. In terms of hardware, the smartphone will be powered by a quad-core Exynos 7570 processor clocked at 1.4GHz which will be matted with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with the support of memory card.

In terms of photography, an alleged Samsung Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone will come with an 8MP rear, a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will be backed by a 2,600mAh battery and obviously run on Android Oreo (Go Edition). Android Oreo Go Edition had been introduced by Google in December 2017.

Android Oreo Go Edition is specifically designed for the entry-level smartphones and it provides better performance integrated with data management and security features.
