Samsung Starts Rolling Android 8.0 Oreo Update For Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

The official announcement of latest Android 8.0 Oreo update for several Samsung smartphones has been declared by the company at Turkey website. Samsung, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has provided the smartphones list along with the deadline when they will start receiving an Android 8.0 Oreo update. Currently, Samsung has started receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update only for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphones. However, Samsung latest flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ come with latest operating system i.e., Android 8.0.

According to the latest report, several Samsung smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) will come with latest Android 8.0 Oreo update very soon.

According to the company’s Turkey website, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the first smartphone which will come with Android 8.0 Oreo update from 30th March 2018. After then the Galaxy Note 8 users will be able to update their smartphone with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Galaxy S7 series smartphone which includes Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will start receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update from 13th April 2018.

Additionally, Samsung Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A3, which were launched in the previous year will receive Android Oreo update. These smartphones currently operated on Android Nougat out-of-the-box and will start receiving Oreo update from 25th May 2018. So far, the company has not disclosed any official deadline about the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Samsung smartphones users in India.

Previously when the Samsung started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones, some reboot issues were arising that time so that the company has again started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update for Galaxy S8 lineup series smartphones.
