Samsung Z4 Launched With Tizen 3.0: Comes With 4G VoLTE, 4.5-Inch Display

Samsung, the South Korean tech giant, has launched it's latest Tizen-based smartphone dubbed as the Samsung Z4. This device operates on Tizen 3.0 OS and will soon be made available in the global market, starting with India in may. This latest Samsung smartphone will be made available in Black, Gold, and Silver color options and the pricing will be disclosed at that time only.

The Samsung Z4 is a dual-SIM smartphone that has a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The Samsung has sai8d that this type of curved glass display is first of it's kind for Z-Series Tizen smartphones. The handset has been powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled along with 1GB of RAM. The most amazing thing about this latest Samsung mobile is its camera that comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash support and at the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash support. The company ahs claimed that the both rear and front camera on Samsung Z4 are optimized for social media and has features focused on convenience and creativity. On the rear, the flash module also appears to be shaped similar to the Smart Glow notification system unveiled with the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016).

It must be noted that the Samsung has not disclosed the internal storage capacity of the device and on the connectivity front, it offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS, and GLONASS. The Samsung Z4 has been powered by a 2050mAh battery and it measures 132.9x69.2x10.3mm and weighs 143 grams. The Samsung Z4 is the fourth smartphone by the company in Samsung Z series, however, should not be considered as the advanced version of the Samsung Z3. Until now Samsung has unveiled Samsung Z, Samsung Z1, Samsung Z2, and Samsung Z3 in it's Z series smartphones.

"We're dedicated to providing our customers with devices that offer smarter mobile interactions," DJ Koh, president of mobile communications business at Samsung Electronics, was quoted as saying in the company's release. "The Samsung Z4 brings a simplified mobile experience to first-time smartphone users and represents our ongoing commitment to expanding the Tizen ecosystem," Koh said.
