Smartphone Screen Goes Sharper with Sharp 5.5-inch IGZO 4K Display

The level of this richness has reached to peak when a display manufacturer Sharp has brought a 4K display.

Introducing such a high resolution display, the company has won the crown for bringing a very high quality touch panel for smartphones. It’s suddenly made the QHD old. On one side, LG brought a 5.5-inch QHD panel (having 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution) for its next flagship with more advance features, while Sharp has dropped a bombshell by making the same 5.5-inch panel with ultra higher resolution i.e. 2160 x 3840 pixels.

Sharp 5.5 inch 4K IGZO Display

This 4K screen will enhance the pixel density to 806 pixels per inch which is outstanding to offer great result. It will be going to mass produce in 2016. This Japanese company always gives people staggering products to make them surprise. This time, it’s a 5.5-inch IGZO 4K panel with pixel density of 806ppi. However, company had brought the ultra high resolution display last year in November which was capable in offering 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution with pixel density of 736ppi on a 4.1-inch display.

Company better knows for manufacturing IGZO screens and bezel-less smartphone. IGZO stands for Indium gallium zinc oxide. This material when uses in a smartphone screen, it makes the display more crystal clear than other LCDs, consuming less battery. Well, the newly announced UHD panel will leave all the top smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S6, yet to announce LG G4, and iPhone 6 behind whenever it will bestow a handset.
