Sony Xperia A4 Paired with Top-of-the-line Hardware Launched

The noted Japanese Conglomerate Corporation: Sony has announced a brand-new Android 5.0 Lollipop based smartphone, Xperia A4 in association with NTT Docomo. The new member of Xperia A lineup will initially go on sale in home country via aforementioned telecom operator, but details about its pricing has not been disclosed yet. Appended with a Model Number: SO-04G, gadget is likely to be released as a Z-series handset in other markets.

Coming to specifications, handset features a 4.6-inch with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720p. Featuring glossy exterior with rounded frame, handheld is decked with IPX5/8 and IP6X certification, which make its body waterproof and dustproof. The smartphone is fueled by a 2600mAh battery as well as houses convenient STAMINA mode and emergency power-saving mode in order to make its long-lasting battery more promising.

Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, Sony Xperia A4 is capable to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. On imaging front, gadget is fitted with a 20.7-megapixel primary shooter with company's own G lens with f/2.0 aperture, Exmos RS sensor and incorporates a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera with Exmor R sensor.

Memory-wise, phone is armed with 2GB RAM to take the full advantage of its multitasking processor and comprises 16GB of expandable internal memory. As per Fonearena, the inbuilt storage can be expanded upto 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of connectivity, Xperia A4 offers LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and NFC options.

Furthermore, gadget measures 128 x 66 x 9.1mm scale and weighs 129 grams and it has been designed in Gray, Pink, Blue and White color models. However, price is still unknown, but sources are suggesting that prospective buyers can get their hands of this well-built handset from mid-June 2015.
