Sony Xperia C4 for Selfie Enthusiasts with Wide Angle Lens Launched

Sony seems quite secretive on smartphone launch side. The tech juggernaut has come out silently and pulled off the curtain from Xperia C4 without creating any buzz over web for launch. Company has made the announcement of this selfie smartphone same way as it did with its flagship Xperia Z4. Well, we can’t say why the Japanese tech giant is using this way to unveil its devices which had been in rumours from long time.

Well, the Xperia C3 successor is now announced to captivate the heart of selfie addicts with improved camera quality. One with single SIM slot and another with dual SIM slot, two variants of this smartphone usher to entice customers. Xperia C4 seems identical in design with its elder brother, but has different innards.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is giving the sweetness to Xperia C4 and Xperia C4 Dual as rumoured earlier. It has the same 5.5-inch IPS display which is adorned on the predecessor. However it offers full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution on this display which uses Bravia Engine 2 to improve the experience.

As it’s a successor of a selfie-centric smartphone, it maintains the custom by offering 5MP front camera with LED flash. Exmor R sensor, 25mm wide-angle lens, and Superior Auto are also there to make your selfie astonishing in every manner. A 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash is also on-board for shutterbugs.

It is based on 64-bit CPU architecture which works with 1.7GHz octa-core (Cortex-A53) MediaTek MT6752 processor for boasting performance. Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM are complimented the processor for great graphics and seamless multitasking results.

Sony Xperia C4 is sleek enough to give a complete new and comfy experience with 7.9mm profile. It is coupled with 16GB built-in storage which can further be expandable upto 128GB using microSD card. A 2600mAh battery is packed inside its sleek body to deliver up to 12 hours 47 minutes of talk time.

On connectivity side, device offers 4G LTE network support for fast data browsing. Apart from this, there are few more options include 3G, Glonass, Micro-USB, DLNA, and GPS/ A-GPS. The Xperia C4 also supports SmartBand Talk (SWR30) and Stereo Bluetooth Headset. Well, the smartphone will hit market shelves in June 2015, dipped in White, Black, and Green colors.
