It seems that the Lenovo-owned Motorola has started working on the successor of Moto P30 which expected to come with a punch hole display for the selfie camera which shows that the company is ready to join the race. The Motorola P40 has been the hottest topic these days as specifications have started surfacing on the internet in the form of leaks. The leak has shown a glimpse of the upcoming Motorola P40. However, the price and other information are not available at the moment but its design and key specifications have surfaced on the internet via leaks.
The leaks so far claim that the Moto P40 will come with a punch hole display for the selfie camera, though the latest leak reveals that the successor of P30 will be featuring a 48-MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.75. For selfies and video calling, there will be a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and AI-backed features. The tipster reveals that the Motorola P40 will be embedded with a 4,132 mAh battery along with the support of NFC.
The latest leak suggests that the Moto P40 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and will be made available in two storage configuration: 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
One must note that the aforementioned information regarding the Motorola P40 is based on the rumours, although the actual details will be unveiled at the official launch event.
The New Motorola P40 has a new feature and changed design language and has come up with the display hole camera on the front. Samsung, Huawei, and Honor have adopted the same feature in the Galaxy A8s, Nova 4 and the V20 aka View 20 respectively.
Motorola P40 is supposed to be launched in selective markets and which features a hole in the top left corner of display for the selfie camera. The detailed information regarding the same is not available. The Display measures 6.2-inches and has uniform bezels on the sides and the top. while it is comparatively thicker at the bottom. The Back panel is highly reflective and is supposed to be made out of glass. The Motorola P40 has a Dual camera setup which bulges out slightly.

The report reflects that one of the cameras has a 48-megapixel sensor while details for the second one is not available. It has a dual LED flash that is set below the camera module. At the centre, there is a fingerprint scanner and has the Motorola logo on it. At the back side of the Motorola P40, we can spot an Android One logo. This reveals that the set would be a part of Android One programme and the software and security updates should be done in time.
According to information, the SIM tray is on the left whereas the Power and the Volume buttons are on the right side. A USB Type-C port, a microphone hole, and a speaker grille is placed at the bottom. The set would measure 160.1 x 71.2 x 8.7mm and the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top is retained as per the Reports.
