After a long pause, now Pune based corporation: Swipe has come into headlines by launching a budget-friendly handset, called Konnect ME at Rs. 3,999. Notably, company had announced an inexpensive hybrid device: Ultimate Tab 3G in January and now it has turned its focus towards the segment of smartphones, which is already booming and becoming more competitive day-by-day.
During the inauguration, Founder & CEO of Swipe Technologies: Shripal Gandhi has stated that firm has designed Konnect ME with an aim is to provide a smartphone in the hands of every Indian. He also added that newly-launched gadget is a super phone in every sense of the word- SuperTech, SuperSecure, SuperSocial. That's the Super Value.
Talking about specifications, handheld features a decent 4.5-inch IPS display with a pixel resolution of 854 x 480p. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, phone is power packed with a dual-core MediaTek processor, which is clocked at 1.3 GHz operating frequency. The inclusion of a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside an 1.3-megapixel selfie snapper also make it a good proposition for budget-conscious folks.
On connectivity front, it encompasses 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS options in its shell. Fueled by a 2450mAh battery, Swipe Konnect ME comprises 1GB RAM accompanied by 8GB of internal memory. Here, its inbuilt storage can be extended upto 32GB by using a MicroSD card slot. Moreover, this Dual SIM measures 134.6 x 66.7 x 10.6 mm scale and weighs 91.9 grams.
As yet, handset has been cataloged on an E-commerce website: Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs. 3,999. At the time of writing, device has been listed as Sold Out on the online retail website, but it will be available exclusively through Snapdeal.
