Tecno Mobile’s family expansion took place on Wednesday with the lineup expansion by the launch of Camon iAce 2X and Camon iAce 2. These two new models are a successor to Tecno Camon iAce, which had been launched last year in August.
Both of these phones are a 8-megapixel, HD+ display smartphone having an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with AI powered selfie camera with gradient colour finish. Both the Camon iAce 2 and iAce 2X comes with a 32GB onboard storage.
1) The Tecno Camon iAce 2 price in India has been set at Rs. 6,699 and is available in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and City Blue vibrant colour options.
2) The Tecno Camon iAce 2X is available at a price tag of Rs. 7,599 and it comes in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Nebula Black colour options.
News is that both of the new Tecno smartphones would go on sale later half today and would be retailed through more than 35,000 retail outlets across India.
The Company is offering the "111" service with the new models that would offer a one-time screen replacement, free replacement within 100-days and a one-month extended warranty.
The new Tecno phones are the successors and are the upgraded version of the Camon iAce, which has been launched in India back in August last year and carried a price tag of Rs. 6,779.
Tecno is offering a selfie LED soft light on both the sets, i.e. Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X. Smart work has been done on the optics section and the handsets are preloaded with AI beauty algorithm which is designed such that it scans up to 228 facial points. To come in sync with the latest trend, an AI Bokeh model aided to blur the background to highlight the subject in a frame has been added.
So far as the hardware is concerned, both the models viz, the Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X have identical hardware but the RAM for both the models are different. It is 2GB for Tecno Camon iAce 2 and 3GB RAM on Camon iAce 2X.
These are the dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE (Nano) Tecno phones that are powered by Android 8.1 Oreo, having HiOS 4.1 on top and features a 5.5-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels). They are also facilitated with full View Display with an aspect ratio 18:9. There is about 80.5 percent screen-to-body percentage and offers 450 nites of brightness. These smartphones are powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) SoC, and comes with 2GB and 3GB RAM options.
The Tecno Camon iAce 2 and the Camon iAce 2X comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.8 lens which is aided for good photos and videos. Also, there is a VGA secondary sensor. Again, the camera setup supports Night algorithm 2.0 and is paired with a LED flash. It is made available with an 8-megapixel sensor at the front along with an f/2.0 lens and a sweet soft LED flash.
Both the Techno mobiles, the Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X have 32GB of onboard storage which could be expanded via a dedicated microSD card (up to 128GB). For connectivity options, both the models have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
An ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and a proximity sensor is coming as the Onboard sensors along with a fingerprint sensor at the back. The smart feature of an AI Face Lock makes the set more attractive and adds something extra to its features. Both of them is powered by a 3,050mAh battery and measures 148.3x71.9x8.48mm.
