The Next Generation Xperia Series Smartphones Unveiled At MWC 2016

The MWC 2016 has begun and many technological giants of the Globe are up with their upcoming smartphone in lieu to attract the consumers. Right now in the news is Sony Xpeia, as the company has launched its awaited flagship of it's X-series variant, at the stage of the ongoing MWC (Mobile World Congress), that will commence until 25 February 2016 at Barcelona, Spain. Under the new X-series, Sony launched Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA smartphones.

All three new Xperia X smartphones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company's UI on top and come in single and dual-SIM models. The Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Performance share some similar innards such as a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Triluminos display for mobile powered X-Reality for mobile engine; a 23-megapixel rear camera with f1/2.3 Exmor RS for mobile sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash; 13-megapixel front camera; 3GB of RAM; 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable storage support up to 200GB via microSD card, and 4G LTE support.

The news Sony X series packs also have features like Sony’s smart battery management. While Xperia X runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor; Xperia X Performance is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The smartphones have curved glass display with rounded, continuous frames and specifically Xperia XA sports an edge-to-edge display.

Sony has also introduced its Xperia Ear, which is Smart wireless ear-piece. It provides users with useful information such as their schedule, weather and the latest new and response to verbal commands, so they can ask it to make a call, perform an Internet search, dictate a message or navigate to a certain location.

The Sony Xperia X, Sony Xperia X Performance, and Sony Xperia XA smartphones will be available in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold colours. They will go on sale from summer 2016 and the company is expected to reveal prices at the time of local launch. The phones will come with a range of matching style covers.
