Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker company, had launched a matte black edition of the Vivo V5 Plus in India a few days ago and now the handset is up for sale from today. The matte black edition of the Vivo V5 Plus is exclusively available online via Flipkart, along with other offline retail and Vivo exclusive stores across the country with a price tag of Rs 25,990. It must be noted that Vivo had initially launched the V5 Plus mobile at a price of Rs 27,980 in January 2017.
Vivo has officially announced its exclusive partnership with Flipkart for the online sale of limited edition Vivo V5 Plus smartphone. The matte Black V5Plus limited edition phone comes with an 18-carat VIVOIPL logo engraved at the back was first unveiled by Vivo in Hyderabad on April 4 to celebrate the 10 glorious years of IPL. "This exclusive range of special edition smartphones has been made available to offer cricket fans and IPL lovers a delightfully personalized experience," states Vivo in a press note.

On the specifications front, the Vivo V5 Plus has a mega 20-megapixel front-facing camera (Sony IMX376 sensor) with f/2.0 aperture and a moonlight LED flash along with an another 8-megapixel camera on the front, which makes it suitable for capturing the depth of field thus allowing customers to click perfect selfies. The dual front cameras are capable of creating sharpness on the face while creating a beautifully blurred background which is enhanced by a digital optical algorithm to generate an amazing Bokeh effect. On the rear, the Vivo V5 Plus has a 16-MP camera that comes with Phase Detection Autofocus and a single LED flash and also supports features like - 4K videos recording, time-lapse and slow-motion videos. The handset comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display and has been powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Apart from these, this Vivo mobile has been incorporated with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The handset operates on android 6.0 Marshmallow based untouch OS 3.0. For the powering purpose, V5 Plus has a mega 3,055 mAh battery that also supports fast charging capability. The smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner on the home button and along with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity options are also included. This Vivo mobile in India has a measurement of 152.8x74.00x7.26 mm and weighs 158.6 grams.

Talking about the exclusive Flipkart partnership, Vivek Zhang, CMO, Vivo India says, "With this partnership, we aim to use the exclusive online market." He further notes, "The idea behind the launch of limited edition phone was to offer our consumers with not just the phone but an experience they can cherish for a lifetime. We are hopeful that the limited edition V5Plus phones will draw huge attention from the audience."
