Vivo Y95 Goes Official in the Indian Market

As expected, Vivo Y95 has been finally unveiled in the Indian market on November 25, 2018. The device features a waterdrop- shaped display notch, dual- rear sensors, Snapdragon 439 SoC, 4GB RAM and more. In India, it is available in Starry Night and Nebula Purple color options. Vivo Y95 is the first smartphone that comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC which is based on the 12nm fabrication node and it will be available under Rs 20,000 the report claimed previously which has turned true now.

A few days ago, the Chinese tech giant had officially announced the Indian launch date of Vivo Y95. Before the official launch event of Vivo Y95, it has been listed on the official website of Vivo in India along with a full set of set of specifications. To recall, the Vivo Y95 was initially launched in China and Philippines market earlier this month.

Vivo Y95 Philippines Price

In Philippines , the Vivo Y95 costs PHP 13,999 (roughly Rs. 19,100). One must note that it is available for purchase particularly in the Philippines market at all major Vivo stores and kiosks across the country. Apart from Vivo stores and kiosks, it is also available on e-commerce platform Lazada at EMI options.

Vivo Y95 India Price and Launch Offers

In India, the Vivo Y95 comes with a price tag of Rs 16,990 for single 4GB RAM and 64Gb storage which is to be made available at leading online platforms namely Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and Vivo India E-store. Apart from e-commerce platforms, it is also available at offline retail stores. The budget- segment Vivo Y95 goes on sale from today onwards (25 November 2018). It is available in Starry Black and Nebula Purple color options.

Vivo Y95 Specifications

The Vivo Y95 comes with a 6.22-inch IPS HD+ display which offers the screen resolution of 720x1520 pixels and 270ppi pixel density. On the top, it has a 2.5D curved glass which protects the device from damages and scratches. On the software front, runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS skinned with FunTouch OS 4.5. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC which clocked at 1.9GHz. For storing content, it gets 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be further extended by using a microSD card.

As expected, the Vivo Y95 comes with dual sensors on the rear panel consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The rear camera set up is accompanied by an LED flash and supports PDAF as well. For selfies and video calling, there is a 20MP front-facing camera equipped with AI face beauty and selfie flash support.

The Vivo Y95 is armed with a 4,030mAh battery. The smartphone has been equipped with Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, OTG, GM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, microSD card as connectivity options. Sensors on the board are an accelerometer, light sensor, orientation, face unlock, and proximity sensor.
