Vivo, the Chinese tech giant has silently launched the Vivo Z10 in the Indian market which looks similar to the Vivo V7+ that was launched in September 2017. According to the details listed on Vivo India, the key difference between Vivo Z10 and last year launched Vivo V7+ is that the Z10 has 32GB internal storage whereas the V7+ comes with standard 64GB inbuilt storage.
The Vivo Z10 has been launched at a price of Rs 14,990. The budget segment Vivo Z10 is available for purchase only in four states namely Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu throughout the country. However, the company has not mentioned any launch offers for the Z10.
According to the listings of official Vivo India, the Vivo Z10 comes with 6-inch HD+ FullView Display along with taller 18:9 aspect ratio, 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. For storage, the smartphone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage with the support of microSD card. It runs on outdated Android Nougat 7.1- out-of-the-box skinned with Funtouch.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Z10 packs a 16 MP rear camera and 24 MP selfie shooter coupled with an LED flash. The rear camera comes with an Ultra HD mode that makes 64 MP photos via image stacking. The camera app features a Portrait Mode that softens the background and sharpens the closest part by using software which renders a bokeh effect-like experience.
The smartphone brings a face-unlock feature, dubbed as Face Access which lets the users unlock the smartphone by using facial expressions. The battery back up of Vivo Z10 is 3,225 mAh that can be charged via micro USB port.
The Vivo Z10 features a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel.
