Xiaomi to Launch Redmi 7, Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3 Soon In India

A few days back Xiaomi launched it’s spinning brand’s Redmi Note 7, the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi Go smartphones in India. Now, as per the recent reports, the company is all set to launch three more smartphones in the country soon.

As per one of the informant, the three smartphones that will be launched in India soon are the Redmi 7, the Redmi 7A and the Redmi Y3. The reports also disclose that the first smartphone among the three that will be launched by Xiaomi will be Redmi 7 followed by the Redmi Y3. Lastly, the budget smartphone which carries a model number C3F dubbed as Redmi 7A will be launched.

An informant tweeted on Twitter about the information of the launch of the Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 on 4th April. “As you all would expect, Xiaomi is soon launching the Redmi 7 in India. It will also be launching the Redmi Y3 after that, probably next month or so. And that's not all, I believe they are preparing another budget smartphone with model code C3F which is probably Redmi 7A”, reads the tweet.

A few days back, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 smartphone in China and on the other hand the Redmi 7A and Redmi Y3 are still not launched. 

Specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi 7

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 flaunts a 6.26-inch HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, with a screen resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels and on display there is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone carries a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU mated.

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes in three RAM variants i.e. 2GB, 3GB and 4GB of RAM and three storage options i.e. 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage. All the three variants can further be expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot up to 512GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi 7 smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back for security and runs MIUI 10 based Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The smartphone gets the fuel from the 4000mAh battery.

Camera of the Xiaomi Redmi 7

In terms of the optics, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 at the back carries dual camera setup which includes a primary 12MP sensor with an LED Flash, 1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. At the front, the phone carries an 8MP selfie camera that features AI beauty and AI face unlock.

Price of the Xiaomi Redmi 7

The base variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage carries a price tag of 699 Yuan i.e. around Rs 7,150. The mid-range variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage comes at 799 Yuan i.e. roughly Rs. 8,170. The high-end variant with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal memory costs 999 Yuan i.e. approx Rs 10,215.
