ZTE Introduced Nubia M2 Play With Fingerprint Sensor and Android 7.0 Nougat

ZTE, the renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturer has added one more handset to its Nubia M2 smartphone lineup dubbed as Nubia M2 Play. The smartphone has been unveiled in China, still, the company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of it. In terms of specification, the newly introduced handset is just a dropped down version of the Nubia M2, while a bit upgraded from the Nubia M2 Lite.

The new Nubia M2 Play is blessed with a similar design language to the Nubia M2 Lite including a metal body, curved glass, and a single rear camera setup. The company has also offered a fingerprint sensor housed underneath the home button at the front chin of it. On the other hand, the Nubia M2 is blessed with a dual camera setup at the rear side.

Coming to the specifications, the Nubia M2 Play Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD LCD display with 274 ppi pixel density and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core (4x1.4GHz and 4x1.1GHz) Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. As a comparison, the Nubia M2 Lite is blessed with the Helio P10 chipset with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. The Nubia M2 Play packs 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The optical part of the Dual-SIM smartphone includes a 13-megapixel rear Sony CMOS sensor along with f/2.2 aperture and hybrid autofocus. A 5-megapixel 84-degree wide-angle front camera with f/2.4 aperture is also provided by the company for a ravishing selfie experience. The GSM handset is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, and GLONASS as connectivity options on board.
