Facebook Introduced Embed Video Feature and More at F8 Conference

The annual F8 Developer Conference of Facebook has been kicked off on March 25 at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco and brought a raft of announcements. During this consumer-focused event, corporation has proclaimed about the new features of its platform in order to make it more avant-garde and user-friendly. Additionally, firm has pulled the veils from some other core services related to Oculus (VR) headset.

Firstly, tech giant has added an "embed video" option, whereby a video can be embedded onto other sites and this attribute has been included to give an improved video experience to take on YouTube. Taking a glance at screenshots, an embed option on videos will capacitates the folks in simply posting a short clip on blog or website and now they do not need to share a video hosted on Facebook by linking to Facebook page or share it through the platform itself.

Notably, when you will click on “embed video” button, a dialog box will appear with the HTML code. After that, copy and paste the generated code into web page in the place, where you want the clip to be appeared. However, it is only possible for the videos where privacy setting will be public.

The corporation has also rolled out support for 360-degree videos on Oculus (VR) headset and  for News Feed. As per the reports of Engadget, "Facebook has announced at its developer conference that it plans to bring spherical video content to its virtual reality (VR) headset." Here, addition of Spherical video in nascent VR platform has been claimed as a smart move of company and it will surely enhance the market of this platform.
