Google plans to bring new Android version for Cars

The Mountain View giant is working very hard to bring more flexibility in next Android. It is reported that Google has begun the work on next Android platform which will allow car drivers to take all the benefits of Internet without connecting their device. Yes, the search engine giant is assiduously developing the next version, allegedly called as Android M. This version won’t only be improved in features, but will also be capable enough to work direct with your vehicle. No need of smartphone connectivity, it can go direct into your car.

If it becomes true, then this would become the biggest updation for Android Auto software. For unawares, this platform is used to access apps, music and maps while you drive. It requires the phone tethering with your car, which should be compatible with this platform and should also be equipped with a built-in screen. But, whenever the new version will arrive, it will curtail the dependency on the smartphone completely.

On the other side, Apple’s Car Play is also there to compete with Android Auto. Both work in the same manner, project the applications of your smartphone on car’s built-in screen to access them when driving. It is also expected that CES 2015 will showcase the cars which support Car Play and Android Auto.
