Google Teamed Up with Qualcomm for Next-Gen Project Tango Smartphone

The eminent name in the field of technology and science, Google has already appeared in multiple tidings due to its upcoming mobile operating system and successor of Android Lollipop: Android M, and now it has again managed to come into headlines by doing partnership with Qualcomm. Yes, the search giant has teamed up with this noted chipset manufacturer for its next-generation Project Tango smartphone.

Notably, Qualcomm has released a blog post, in which it has been mentioned that next generation Project Tango smartphone development platform will be power packed with Snapdragon 810 processor. As the matter of fact, this processor usually comes in high-end flagship handsets and well-known for its flawless and fast performance.

Apparently, Project Tango is the technology that provides an advanced navigation system in gadgets with 3D motion tracking. However, Google has not announced anything about its next-iteration during I/O 2015 event, but this semiconductor company has revealed that “new quest of corporation will be decked with camera, gyroscope and accelerometer to estimate six degree of freedom motion tracking. And, "this capability is especially useful for applications such as real-world 3D gaming, indoor navigation and virtual and augmented reality experiences."
