Hackers Attacked on TRAI due to its Act of Making Users Data Public

The Net Neutrality has become the hottest topic to talk in India. Its rage has been spread like wild-fire in whole nation. Everyone has been sending their response on TRAI’s consultation paper for supporting the Net Neutrality under #SaveTheInternet campaign. Well, the campaign was on its fullest, meanwhile the TRAI made email-ids of several Indians public who responded on this thumping topic. To teach TRAI a lesson, a group of anonymous hackers who called themselves AnonOpsIndia, has attacked on this government website.

They have hacked the website in response of publicizing personal email-ids of people. The anonymous group of hackers has taken down the official TRAI website few hours after making email ids public. They have attacked the website through distributed denial of service (DDoS). They also objurgated the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for their bad act and also tweeted for the same.

One of the tweets reads, "So those who still think that #TRAi can "handle" the Internet, we just proved you wrong. They just got trolled by bunch of kids." However, this act of hackers got mixed reaction. Some praised it and some said to stop this hacking and they did stop hacking. But, all the email ids are still showing on the website.
