HTC Rolls Out Android 7.0 Nougat Updates for One M9, HTC 10 and 10 Lifestyle Smartphones

HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has recently delivered Android 7.0 Nougat updates for its unlocked One A9 smartphone, and now second in the list is its 10 Lifestyle handset to get the new update. But, the company, along with HTC 10 Lifestyle also rolled out updates for its HTC 10 and HTC ONE M9 smartphones in Europe.

The following reports have been confirmed by the company’s Graham Wheeler, Product and Service director. In a tweet, Wheeler said, “HTC 10 Nougat starts rolling out today. The UK first more regions to follow soon.”

HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat Update

The unlocked HTC 10 units started receiving Android Nougat updates back in November 2016, in some selected regions, on the other hand, the unlocked HTC One M9 units started receiving the updates back in December 2016, which was also just for some limited regions.

Notable Android Police reports that the Nougat Update for HTC 10 comes in about 1.17GB in size, whereas the size of the update received by HTC 10 Lifestyle is 1.15GB. Apart from these, The HTC One M9 is getting OTA (over-the-air) update of about 1.27GB in size.

HTC 10 Android 7.0 Nougat Update

HTC, just after the Android Nougat launch last year, had announced that the company’s HTC 10, HTC One M9, and HTC One A9 will receive the new updates by the last quarter of the year. The new update will be blessed with some new and improved features which include multi-window support, performance enhancements, improved battery life, and changes to notifications.
