Samsung Gear S2 Elegant Smartwatch Will Hit in Australia Next Month

It is an exciting news for the Android enthusiasts that Samsung had unveiled the Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic smartwatches. The Gear S2 will also works with non Samsung smartphones. It massively broadens its appeal, and brings it more squarely into competition with Android Wear watches with competitors like LG, Motorola and Huawei.

A 3G version of the Samsung Gear S2 will also be available for the users embedded with e-SIM so that it can work independently without requiring it to paired with a smartphone.

The smartwatch will feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a 360×360 resolution and 302ppi pixel of density. It is powered by a dual-core 1GHz CPU, which drives the device and consisting with 512MB of RAM and an internal storage of 4GB. At the connectivity side it includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. All the models of smartwatch Gear S2 line are running on the Tizen OS.

During its remark at IFA 2015 event, Samsung elaborated more about the wearable device and it revealed that the Gear S2 is going to hit shelves starting next month in Australia.

The Gear S2 is going to release two different variants- a regular Gear S2, which is designed curved at the edges where it meets its watchband and another variant is Gear S2 Classic, designed as squared.

There is not any information about when the Gear S2 is coming to Australia, but it confirms at the event that it is not far away. Gear S2 will be available at the retail stores including Samsung's stores.
