Sony Xperia X Performance Gets Android 7.0 Update

Sony, the giant techno manufacturing firm has now announced that the company is now planning to make the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update available for its Xperia X performance and Xperia XZ smartphones. As per its earlier announcements, the company has already started to roll out the Nougat update for its Xperia X performance and X performance dual smartphones.

The new update received by the Xperia smartphones will arrive with many cool and attractive features including multi-window, direct-replies, quick settings, extended battery life, and multi-locale support. The update has already started rolling out for Xperia X Performance and X Performance dual smartphones as per the reports by the company.

Talking about the specifications, the Sony Xperia X Performance features a 5-inch full HD display of resolution 1080X1920 pixels and packs 32GB of inbuilt memory space which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The Android smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Concerning the optical part of the GSM handset, it is blessed with a 23-megapixel rear camera along with a 13-megapixel front sensor for shooting selfies. The device is backed up by a 2700mAh battery and also comes with a fingerprint sensor. Coming next to Xperia X performance dual, the Dual-SIM smartphone packs all the specifications similar to Xperia X performance Except the device comes with 64GB inbuilt memory space.

Sony Xperia Z3 Plus

Sony has also announced that its Xperia Z5 series, Xperia Z3+, and Xperia Z4 Tablet will get the update in December this year. Apart from this, the last group of smartphones to receive the Android N update will be Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra, which will get the update in the starting of 2017.

Sony Xperia E5

The thing to notice in the last is Sony Xperia E5, Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4v smartphones are not in the list to receive the update.
