2015 Mercedes C Class to Launch in India on February 11

Mercedes-Benz has set up the petrol variant of C Class sedan in November, 2014 in India and recently, the largest luxury car manufacturer has promulgated the exact launch date for the diesel version of this runabout that has been scheduled for 11 February, 2015. The car will be arriving in the Indian market via CBU (Completely Build Unit) route just like the existing model. Mercedes will offer refreshed and more luxurious components than its predecessor for the exterior as well as for interior. On the outside, this most awaited vehicle would get a panoramic sunroof and stunning LED ambient lighting alongside three color options.

Coming to inside, the C220 CDI will have a 8.4 inch touchscreen display comprising COMAND infotainment system, 13 speaker Burmester audio system, satellite navigation, three zone automatic climate control and push button start. As it has been unconcealed that apart from the new powetrain, its cosmetic feature will also be renovated, so this is well known that the price will be higher than the C200 petrol trim and the oil burner trim seems to be priced at INR 40 Lacs.

Mechanically, the upcoming car will include a 2. litre diesel mill to generate an impressive power of 170 bhp as well as a maximum torque of 400 Nm, which will be coupled with a 7G-Tronic gearbox to drive its rear wheels. In just 7.4 seconds, this model would achieve an appreciable speed of 100 km/h from a standstill position ahead of marking the top speed of 233 km/h.
