2015 Nissan X-Trail SUV Discarded from the India Launch

The Nissan X-Trail SUV had already been launched in India via CBU and due to the poor response the company has stopped selling this product last year in the country. Again, the manufacturer was about to set up its third generation model in the Indian market in the next year. Now, a source has claimed that the automobile producing brand has discarded the plans to release this runabout in the country. However, the Japanese automaker had made an announcement that among of the nine countries, India will be one of the listed country that would roll out the X-Trail.

Now, there are rumors that the manufacturer has changed the decision and it also axed to make the latest introduction about the X-Trail through CBU route. This is just because of its cost, which is likely to around INR 40 Lakhs alongside all of the taxes that will be the rival of luxury cars, such as Mercedes, Audi as well as the BMW. There is only one hope to launch this SUV in India and that is the CKD route, but the automobile producer will give the confirmation after seeing the proper demand from the customers.

The outgoing model was priced at INR 25.11 Lakhs, while the upcoming SUV is expected to get the price of INR 40 Lakhs, which would not make any prediction for the clients who have the options of Toyota Fortuner, Renault Koleos and the Hyundai Santa Fe.
