2016 Volkswagen Jetta Gets Equipped with New Infotainment System

Volkswagen has silently introduced an updated infotainment system for the 2016 Jetta model, as reported by Team Bhp. The new infotainment system has been derived from the VW Beetle , which was introduced recently. It is being reported that the upcoming Ameo is also likely to get the same fitments. However, nothing can be confirmed about it until the car makes its debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

Coming back to the Jetta, the newly introduced interior features include a park pilot with adaptive reverse guidelines. However, it is still devoid of a reverse parking camera. Further the infotainment gets an improved touchscreen interface. Unlike the 6-CD changer in the older version, there is a single CD player now. Further, connectivity options like Aux-in, SD card reader support, USB and Bluetooth have also been offered. Moreover, the combination of 4 speakers and 4 tweeters has been retained.

Discussing about the pricing aspect of Jetta, the company hasn't disclosed any plans of changing the price and hence it's likely to carry the same price. As of now, the automaker is focusing and promoting its upcoming Ameo compact sedan, which has been teased recently. The Ameo is rumoured to be a similar copy of the Polo both in terms of mechanical configuration and design cues.
