2017 Range Rover Sport SVR To be Tuned With F-Type Power Mill

The 2017 model Range Rover Sport SVR is said to get the most powerful engine from the F-Type. The current 550 hp engine is likely to get more power, making it a complete off-roader. Range Rover Sport SVR will receive the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 from the Jaguar F-Type SVR model which was seen at last years Geneva Motor show. The engine produces 575 PS of maximum power and 700Nm of torque, while the outgoing Range Rover Sport SVR produces 550PS and 680Nm of peak torque.

Boarding this engine, the 2017 Range Rover Sport SVR will be capable to sprint from still to 100 kmph in just 4 seconds. It could also take over a top speed of up to 260 kmph. Moreover, these performance figures find matching with the popular Porsche Cayenne Turbo, which weighs 70 kg less in comparison to the Sport SVR. The present Sport SVR is slightly behind the Cayenne Turbo in the sprint timing.
