Bajaj Pulsar 200AS Scheduled for April 14 Launch (Spied)

After the introduction of the fully-faired Pulsar RS200, a semi-faired sports motorcycle will be hitting the Bajaj dealership for the running month. Another expected product from the Bajaj Auto Ltd. is the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS, an Adventure Sports motorcycle. The Pulsar series of sports motorcycle is the one which has concocted its flags in creating a successful history in the Indian two-wheeler market. Since its inception, it has become the first and foremost choice of every youth and college going guy, in terms of marking impression. Talking about the upcoming sports motorcycle, the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS will also be expected to follow the similar success steps.

Getting into the technical details of the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS, it has borrowed its complete technical specifications from the firm's flagship sports motorcycle, i.e. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. Carrying a pumping heart of 199.5cc displaced, single-cylinder motor configuration. The liquid-cooled motor fetches out a churning power of 23.52 BHP 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 revs. The 199.5cc displaced Triple-spark ignition engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Even though, it is sharing its complete technical specs from the Pulsar 200NS, but as of now, there is no confirmation whether it will be featuring a fuel-injection engine or carbureted fuel supply.

Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto says, "The Company has another big launch this month on April 14th, again an all new-PULSAR", clearly giving us indications of the approaching Pulsar motorcycle. Moreover, the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS has been recently snapped at a local dealership in the country, confirming the arrival of the very same on the above mentioned date. Carrying a half-front fairing, the Bajaj Pulsar 200AS looks pretty much attractive to one's eye.
