The Bajaj Auto Ltd. has released a teaser of the upcoming adventure sports motorcycle, Bajaj Pulsar 200AS. Following the successful launch of the Pulsar RS200, the firm has announced the launch date of another 200cc sports motorcycle, i.e. 14th April, 2015. The firm has already sent out the invitations for the launching ceremony of the upcoming motorcycle. With the teasing revealed images, the company has showcased a bit of curves and cues of the motorcycle. The most surprising thing is that the firm will be launching more than two Pulsar motorcycles, as the invitation says, "New Range of Pulsar".
Reportedly, the soon to be launched Bajaj Pulsar 200AS is also sharing its technical specifications with the firm's flagship motorcycle, Pulsar 200NS. The Pulsar 200AS is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The DTS-i engine is tuned to generate a maximum power of 24.2 BHP @ 9750 revs and reaches a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 revs, while mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Projecting lights over the "New Range of Pulsar", the Bajaj Pulsar 150AS might be expected to accompany the Pulsar 200AS, while the launching ceremony. The Bajaj Pulsar AS siblings are expected to be a part of the new Pulsar range launching tomorrow, out of which the 200AS has confirmed its arrival by the teaser released. The braking duties have been taken care by front and rear disc brakes.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150AS is featuring a 149.5cc displaced engine taken from the Pulsar 150. Both the siblings are loaded with a front half-fairing, projector headlight, semi-digital instrument cluster retaining the very same sportiness in styling and design.
