Benelli May add TNT 15 to Indian Family at Delhi Auto Expo

The legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Benelli made its debut with its five flagship products in the Indian market, with the collaboration of DSK Motowheels in 2014. And only within a year, the joint venture managed to taste the flavor of success with its product portfolio. "Success always motivates to do better, and better", resulting of it, the Indo-Italian venture, DSK Benelli, started to extend its product lineup, with the introduction of Benelli TNT 25 on 18 December 2015. The Benelli TNT 25 become the most economical offering of the firm. Apart from this, the automaker may also showcased a number of products at Delhi Auto Expo on 3rd February this year.

The Benelli TNT 15 which made its official appearance at a trade fair in Indonesia on 6th June,2015, is expected to join the Indian Benelli family at Delhi Auto Expo. Being a commuter segment motorcycle, TNT 15 shares iconic styling and cues from its elder siblings.

Visually, the Benelli TNT 15 comprises compact headlamp, fabricated fuel tank, exhaust tail, split seat and minimal body work to make it an attractive motorcycle in the premium motorcycle segment. In technical components, the TNT 15 is featured with a digital-analog instrument console to share the convenient information to the rider.

Mechanically, the TNT 15 draws the propelling power from a 148cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valves and carbureted engine. The motor manages to throw out the power around 16 BHP with the support of 5-speed gearbox. Suspension setup configured with telescopic fork at the front and mono shock at the rear, while stopping responsibility will be handled by disc in front and drum brake at rear.

If Benelli TNT 15 makes it debut in the Indian market, then it will have to do face off against existing models as Yamaha FZ series, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Hunk and more in the 150cc segment. The motorcycle will be launched at a competitive price tag of around INR. 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
