As the festive season is about to begin in the next few months, several automakers are aiming at en-cashing this opportunity by introducing various strategies in the Indian car market. Yet another automobile brand Nissan has launched the limited edition Datsun GO NXT today at INR4.09 Lacs, (ex-showroom). This model will be available for sale from August to December in all the company outlets. The company is also offering accessories worth INR 20,000 at an affordable price of INR 5,000. this limited edition model will be based on Datsun Go T variant.
The Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, Mr Arun Malhotra was quoted as saying, “Datsun GO has been purposefully designed for Indian market rather than adapted to fit and boasts best in class space, performance and economy. With the NXT Festive Edition, we are offering a host of convenience features that add to the functionality, practicality and appeal of the car.”
This newly introduced model is an improved version of Datsun GO 'T' variant and hence carries updated features. It has been equipped with keyless ignition, chromed exhaust tips, and rear parcel tray along with a black colored dashboard. Coming to the mechanical front, this car is going to be powered by the same motor like the present model. This means, under the hood, there will be a 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine with 67 Bhp and 104 Nm. Power will be transmitted to the wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox.
