Hero Motorcorp is gearing up to increase the category of scooters by introducing a new scooter, Hero Duet in India. Being under development for a long time period, it is now ready to be officially launched in Indian market on the 29th of September.

In terms of its designing, Hero Duet that comes with metal body. It also comes with attractive headlight and new graphics which offer a decent look. Telescopic front forks give a thrilling performance. It gets tubeless tyres, integrated braking and mobile charging USB port. Moreover, it will be known as a luggage carrier as it is featured with storage space under the seat, rear and front luggage hooks. It is featured with service reminder, combination lock and digital-analog instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the powering of the scooter comes from the same motor that has been used in Maestro Edge. It is powered by the 110.9cc, single cylinder that produces a maximum power of 8.43 PS at 800 RPM and a peak torque of 8.30 Nm at 6500 RPM. The upcoming scooter has excellent ground clearness and ergonomics that measures length of 1830 mm, width of 725 mm and height of 1140 mm with a wheelbase of 1245 mm. The Duet offers a dynamic stability power as it is blessed with telescopic suspension at front side and shock forks at rear. Standard braking duties are performed by integrated brakes.

The Scooter will be arriving in the market with two variants as LX and VX. The price of the vehicle is not fixed, but expecting the price of the bike will be Rs. 50,000/-. It will compete against its rival, Honda Activa-i.
