Hero to Introduce Two New Models in Indian Lineup By September This Year

Hero Motocorp has recently made some drastic changes in its Indian lineup by eliminating around six to eight products. Including Hero Xtreme, Hunk, Ignitor, Karizma R and some passion and splendor variants. Now, from the sources, it has been found that the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world will fill this void by September 2017 with the introduction of two new products. These new products are the part of brand’s earlier announcement of introducing six new models every year, which will target new scooters and premium motorcycles.

The same has also been confirmed by a senior Hero official in a meeting with Economic Times. Out of the six models, the company will launch two by this festive season or before September this year. He further added that these two will be joined by an all-new 200cc motorcycle which could be the brand’s most awaited flagship, the Xtreme 200S, which made its first public appearance at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. However, no specifications regarding these slated to launch products have yet been disclosed by the bike maker.Hero Xtreme 200S

Other than this, there are no official words from the auto major yet for the highly anticipated HX250R. And from the Hero’s future plans it doesn't seem to hit the Indian market soon, even this year.
