2018 Honda Africa Twin India Launch in July

The adventure tourer motorcycle from the Honda is all prepared to hit the Indian ground in its 2018 avatar in July month this year. While the bookings for the same will commence in June. It is a limited edition model and will be assembled locally at the brand’s manufacturing facility.

If compares the new Africa Twin with the previous model, it is not much different. At the aesthetic, the only appeared updation is the introduction of redesigned and repositioned instrument cluster for better visibility even while standing up and riding.

Mechanically, the similar 998cc parallel-twin engine continues to power the 2018 Africa Twin in association with a DCT gearbox. A few mechanical parts are altered in order to offer improved performance including a longer airbox, a lighter balancer shaft along with a lithium-ion battery. This new battery will help in keeping weight slightly lower.

The rider’s aids electronic package contains four individual riding modes and a seven-level traction control system. Whereas, the Bridgestone dual-sport tyres offers the freedom of taking on the motorcycle to any terrain.

If the major concern of pricing is considered, going to be launch in July month this year, the 2018 Honda Africa Twin will carry the price tag in the similar range of the previous model.
