The vehicle is likely to be available in diesel trim that will be powered by the European CR-V inspired 1.6 litre i-DTEC mill to pump out a maximum power of 120 bhp alongside an awesome torque of 300 Nm. The outgoing variant was engineered with a 1.8 litre four cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine comprising two transmission options for five speed manual and five speed automatic.
Its most awaited updated model is anticipated to receive the similar oil burner, mated to a six speed manual gearbox. Interestingly, the new generation Honda Civic seems to become the best selling car this year.
