The elegant and well-know British car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has decided to replace it getting old Freelander 2 model with the launch of Land Rover Discovery Sport and the car is currently being flaunted at the ongoing Detroit Auto Show 2015. The company has already confirmed that the new version will be available for sale in the same year in the USA and Indian car market as well. Being a true off-roader, the SUV is able invade 600 mm in water, as it has the high ground clearance of 212 mm, 4,599 mm length, 2,173 mm width and 1,724 mm height as well. Coming inside, this SUV can offer seating space of 7 people with 5+2 arrangement, 8-inch touch enabled infotainment screen along with the autonomous braking system as well. Outside, the car has been developed using the high strength steel and aluminum to keep the weight down and performance quotient up. Mentioning the engine part, it has been powered by a 2-Litre 4-Cylinder petrol engine that churns out a maximum of 240 hp power and is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox alongside the all-wheel drive system for the U.S. version.
