Since the launch of Eon hatchback in India in 2011, Hyundai hasn't made any changes in it, but the car still has managed to produce the large selling volumes with still in competition against the entry-level options like Maruti Alto K10, Datsun Go and Chevrolet Beat as well. Now, the Korean automaker has finally decided to make some changes in the car for staying competitive in the cut-throat Indian market of today's. If we believe the reports, then the facelifted model has already been started testing in its home country with many changes on exteriors and interiors as well. There might some engine and performance upgrade will also be there according to the possibilities.

Currently, Eon is available with 2 engine options that is 800cc and 1000cc and with its facelift, the company will be trying to tune the engine for better performance and CNG variant with automatic transmission system could available as another option available. Coming to the features part, the car may get new styling headlamps, re-designed fascia, sleek lines and others. While inside the cabin, there is very much possibility of getting a new infotainment system, spacious cabin, extra safety features and other latest equipment as well.

However, not even a single word has been uttered by the company about the launch of the Eon facelift model, but the resources which have let us know about the possible changes, have been true most of the times. So lets just wait for another 6 months and everything will be clear if the Hyundai Eon facelift is coming to India by 2015 end.
