Hyundai Motor Company had been entered in India by 1996 and the Santro was its first launch on September 23, 1998. Now, In the list of automobile manufacturer, It reached to the 2nd place in India. The company already had a good market of the Verna sedan since 2006 and expected to launch Facelift of the Verna by the first quarter of 2015 to compete with Honda City and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz as well. It is rumored that the developer has given it the look of Hyundai Solaris which was launched in Russia.
Since, the Verna already has classy interiors, the manufacture has done minimum of changes in the cabin of this facelift version. However, for the safety purpose, this new model expected to arrive with 6 airbags, latest ABS system with EBD as well. Mostly changes has been done with its outer look. The car integrated with LED tail-lamps, new headlights, luxurious daytime visible LED fog-lamps and front bumper with new shine of grille as well to make it quite different and attractive than other sedans.
Inside bonnet, Hyundai Verna Facelift expected to launch with a 1.4-litre petrol engine fitted with 5-speed manual gearbox and 1.6-litre diesel engine deal with 6-speed manual gearbox. It has a big chance that the company will provide a 6-speed and 4-speed automatic transmitted gearbox with its high-end variants. Hyundai will price the new model from INR 7.30 to 11.50 Lac which is same as its previous version.
