After rendering the concept model of Hyundai ix25 at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show in China, the manufacturer has showcased the production version of this runabout at the Chengdu Motor Show between the approx price of INR 11.95 to INR 17.93 Lakhs. Now, the company has finally planned to launch ix25 in India in the first quarter of next year and expected price will be lower than the Chinese range. The carriage is anticipated to give straight completion to Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster as well as Nissan Terrano and the car has already been spotted testing in the nation.
The compact SUV has marvelous exterior, which comprises minor aspects of Santa Fe with the amazingly featured daytime running LEDs, LED tail lamps, projector headlamps and diamond cut alloys. Inside the cabin, the styling cues of the dashboard are also inspired by the Santa Fe and it unifies aristocratic BlueLink touchscreen infotainment system alongside the reverse parking cam and navigation technology. The runabout will be available in 2WD as well as 4WD drivertrains along with 6 speed manual and automatic transmission system. Coming to the Indian features, the Hyundai ix25 inherit its powertrains from Verna and it would be usable either with 1.6 liter or 1.4 liter CRDI diesel engine. The petrol model receives 1.6 L VTVT mill.
