Tata owned British car maker JLR has come out with a new variant of its Jaguar XE in India that has badged with the name Prestige. It will be showcased alongside the XE Pure and XE Portfolio variants that were earlier added to company's lineup. The new trim has been priced at INR 43.69 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai) that is around INR 4 Lakhs above from the Pure and about INR 4 lakhs below than Portfolio.
Instead of any new attachement, the XE Prestige will be fitted with a same 2.0-litre petrol engine as its siblings. By having powered with this configuration, it is capable to generate a power of 198 Bhp and a torque of 320 Nm. An eight-speed automatic transmission will be there to help the engine for delivering the power at wheels.
Furthermore, the sedan is packed with ASPC (All Surface Progress Control), which is a low speed cruise control and will let the driver help to control the vehicle in slippery condition. Moreover, it also equipped with a safety feature of Electric Powered Assisted Steering.
Besides, you won't be surprised much by the other equipment as they are much similar to the Pure and Portfolio. Some of the regular attachments are listed as, rear parking camera, ambient lighting, Taurus leather upholstery, ORVMs with memory, and a 380 Meridian sound system.
