KTM 1290 Super Duke Tourer Version Spotted testing

After experiencing the adventure of KTM 1290 Super Duke R, get ready to witness a new version of the adventure motorcycle. The KTM 1290 Super Duke R is an adventurous naked street fighter, which has received a crowned for the legendary naked motorcycle. The impressive performance and aggressive design with amazing handling power has created a huge fan list across the world. Recently, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R has spied in a new version. The new version is a sports-tourer version, which was being spied during its testing in Spain.

The KTM 1290 Super Duke tourer version was being tested over the Spain roads and it was under camouflaged. The spied version was showing up with a sub-frame, which is bigger in size and being a tourer motorcycle its designing also differs from the original one. The firm has attached panniers on both the sides of the motorcycle, which was attached to the pillion seat and a support has also given to the panniers in the shape of pillion peg hangers. A whole new and wide screen has also been added to the instrument console of the spotted motorcycle. The front part has received a newly designed headlamps and a completely new assembly incorporated with front visor.

The KTM 1290 Super Duke tourer version is expected to receive the very same 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, 75 degree V-Twin arrangement motor, which gives an engine displacement of 1301cc. The spark ignition engine is capable to generate a total power of 180 BHP and a peak torque of 143.7 Nm. The suspension duties have been taken care by upside-down forks at the front and monoshock at the rear, which is catered by WP Suspension. ABS braking system is expected as a standard alongside the disc brakes.

Although, all the aforementioned equipments are loaded in the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, as it is known as "The Beast" and, instead of being packed with enhanced electronic package, the motorcycle has received a tag of highly usable road bike. The firm has given Bosch Traction Control and anti-wheelie systems.

The spied tourer-version of KTM 1290 Super-Duke R will be moving towards its development by the starting of the 2016. So, we'll have to wait a little bit more for the tourer-version motorcycle to come alive.
